Meet Your Teacher: Alicia!
Alicia (she/her) has been sewing [and cleaning sewing machines] since she was knee-high and her mom was making formal gowns and bridesmaids dresses from their home in South Africa.
30 years later, she’s working as a sewing machine technician in Richmond, VA, and teaching people how to care for their sewing machines and sergers in the hopes of extending these machines’ lifespans.
